Japan Biologics Co., Ltd. (Address: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yusuke Takeya, hereinafter referred to as "ONODERA Medical"), which has the Tokyo Cell Culture Processing Center (CPC) in central Tokyo.

As a pharmaceutical company that handles human placenta tissue, JBP has been manufacturing and researching and developing human placenta preparations for over 50 years since its establishment in 1970. In recent years, we have made full use of our experience and technology to activate the patient's own cells and tissues and cure symptoms using placenta-derived extracellular matrix, human placenta-derived stem cells, and miRNA* contained in exosomes produced. We conduct clinical research jointly with various university medical institutions and research institutes in Japan and overseas to contribute to the improvement of health and quality of life. Additionally, on January 1, 2023, we organized RE Biotech., which specializes in regenerative medicine business, as an internal venture.
※ What is miRNA (micro-RNA): A gene chain that can control the activity of cells, and when aged cells absorb miRNA produced from fresh cells, they are induced to the state of fresh cells.

 In order to promote the development of products and reagents that contribute to the development of regenerative medicine and its research fields, we signed a joint research agreement with ONODERA Medical, which has a cell culture processing facility (CPC) with a specific cell processed product manufacturing license and owns a cell culture processing facility (CPC). Going forward, JBP and ONODERA Medical will aim for further development by combining technologies, knowledge and resources in the field of regenerative medicine.
