<test device> Collagen Membrane Forming Hydrogel Agent(1.8% collagen, BIOGRAFT®)
<control> Film-forming agent with high adhesiveness (chemical synthetic product, general distribution product)
<Method> Test and control devices were respectively applied to the left and the right arms, confirming that the membrane or film was built. The subject had been wearing long-sheered clothes for 8 hours. Both sides of the part where the membrane and film were formed were marked with oily ink and subsequently washed. If the washing treatment couldn’t remove it, a physical peel-off treatment was additionally applied.
<Results> On the side of the test device, it could maintain a membrane for 8 hours, under conditions of clothing and life-activity, and it was observed that the membrane was removed with just washing treatment.
The atelocollagen membrane formed by BIOGRAFT🄬 absorbs the excess sebum secreted from the skin.

<control> Film-forming agent with high adhesiveness (chemical synthetic product, general distribution product)
<Samples> The following samples were collected and analyzed by the same method.
・Sebum sample: it was obtained from a part of the subject’s right cheek.
・Before application: Both the test device and the control were used directly as samples.
・After application: Both test device and control were applied to the left and right cheeks, respectively; after 8 hours, the membrane and film were gently peeled off as samples.
<Analysis> The lipid sample was extracted by the Bligh & Dyer method, separated using Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography, and detected with Quadrupole Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry.
<Results> A molecular weight peak similar to that of the sebum sample was detected in the test device after 8 hours of application. The results showed that the membrane absorbed the sebum.
Continuous daily use of BIOGRAFT🄬 improves the skin's surface moisture level and barrier function, as measured by TEWL.

<Condition> Conducted from November to December in 2024, N=4 (male,30-40 y.o.)
<Test device> Collagen Membrane Forming Hydrogel Agent(1.8%collagen, BIOGRAFT®)
<Method> The period lasted three (3) weeks in total. The subjects applied approximately 0.8ml to their entire face before bedtime. During the test, the use of basic cosmetics other than the test device was prohibited.
<Results> Measurements with the Corneometer (for moisture level) and the Tewameter (for TEWL) were performed before and after the test, showing that all subjects achieved values above 50% and below 20 g/h/m2, respectively. All measurements were conducted after they washed their faces.
